Mr.Abilash was appointed as the DIRECTOR OF SPORTS in the Jeppiaar initiated sports academy. This Academy selects underprivileged Kids proficient in sports and academics alike to provide them with education, coaching, and similar facilities at no cost. The core aim of the academy being, train these kids to get them PLACED IN the GOVERNMENT SECTOR THROUGH SPORTS QUOTA.
He had started this academy with 3 women players and now he has trained more than 1000 CHILDREN. The first team formed by the academy is the volleyball women's team, followed by the football team and finally kabbadi women’s and men’s teams, Undoubtedly he has the BEST VOLLEYBALL AND FOOTBALL TEAMS IN INDIA.

A majority of the anna university’s team comprises of his players. Every footballer in his team has played as a guest for the MAJOR CLUBS IN THE STATE LIKE THE INDIAN BANK, ICF, RAILWAYS, RESERVE BANK, CHENNAI CITY FC, CUSTOMS, CHENNAIYIN FC and many more. All these players earn stipends from the clubs and post their education he gets them employed.
HE HAS TRAVELLED AROUND THE WORLD FOR DEVELOPMENT AND PROMOTION OF SPORTS.
